Political posters
The election hasn't even been called yet, but I've already had about enough. I'm sure that Labour, sorry, New Labour, has equally annoying ones, but my ride into work seems only to take me passed Tory posters. Time for a bit of editing ...

For those of us on the other side of the pond who are not likely to easily come across the original of the above poster, what did it used to say? (I think this is hilarious, BTW. Would you please make me one for the Republican party?)
The poster used to say "... but we've got to mend our broken society". It's one of a series of "I've never voted Tory before ..." posters that have popped up all over Southampton the last few months. As it happens, since I posted the image the election has finally been called.
Regarding the Republicans, I'm not sure what iconic images they're using at the moment that could be vandalised. Sarah Palin? Also, the Tory posters here often present a "positive message" that can be distorted negative. Most of the Republication stuff I've seen on the web is just negative against Obama. Still, point me the right way and I'll see what I can do.
In passing, editing political posters seems to be in the air a bit here this time around. There's been quite a lot in the news about it here. And some of the edits have been pretty amusing. It'll be interesting to see if this fun stuff continues now we're formally in a campaign.
