Internal Report

Whew. As noted in an earlier post, after many (many) fits and starts, we finally have a reasonable run of our Medusa ecosystem model. I've also wrapped up (but not yet "submitted") an internal report describing the model and a default test run. Not exactly the most accurate model ever, as the document makes plain, but passable (so long as you don't look too carefully at the Taylor diagrams). Anyway, by way of marking this unimpressive feat, I fed the model description to Wordle ...

Wordle: My internal report

Click on the graphic above for a full-size, full-terminology version. I was pleased to see that it identifies state variable Pd (my favourite phytoplankton group) as the most important concept.

Hey there! I've been having maybe too much fun with Wordle since you posted this latest word-cloud. I linked one to Facebook. Hope all's well with you!

I'm faintly disappointed that you didn't feed your sex ed class notes through Wordle! ;-)

-That- would be funny! I've pretty much moved to using PowerPoints, so it would take some time to extra the data and feed it into Wordle. However, I will keep you posted on other fun Wordle action. This said, I am doing a Wordle for my mom's 70th birthday based on comments from friends and relatives and such. If you have anything you'd like to add, email me!

Great idea! Are you getting one framed up for her wall? That's a really neat, and nice, idea. Let me know how it works out (oh, and remember to remove the plurals!).

Anyway, as regards words to add to it, I'd just say inane stuff like "Congratulations", "Happy Birthday" and "Thanks for letting me stay those times". Probably best leave me out!

Do pass along my best wishes though!
